DCE's Response to the "One, Big, Beautiful Bill"

The provisions of the "Big Beautiful Bill," particularly the accelerated phaseout of key renewable energy tax credits, the reduction in incentives for clean energy projects, and the restrictions on foreign-sourced materials, are incredibly concerning. These changes have the potential to slow the adoption of renewable energy solutions and could increase project costs.

We are continuing to assess how these policy changes will impact our business and our customers, and we are actively exploring opportunities to adapt to these new realities. We will continue to advocate for policies with Solar Energy Industries Association and E2 that support clean energy development because we believe solar energy should be more accessible and affordable for everyone. We also believe that a strong federal commitment to renewable energy is crucial for addressing climate change, reducing energy costs, and creating green jobs across the country.
